Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


Directions:


Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.


Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.


In a large skillet, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat. Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.


Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and cover the skillet. Cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
