Cake cookies are a delightful hybrid treat that combines the flavors and textures of cake and cookies. They are typically soft and chewy like a cookie but have the flavor and appearance of a cake.
To make cake cookies, you can start with a cake mix of your choice (such as vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet) and add eggs, oil, and any other ingredients the cake mix calls for. Then, instead of baking the batter in a cake pan, you drop spoonfuls of it onto a baking sheet to create individual cookies.
Cake cookies can be customized with add-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit, and you can also frost or glaze them after baking for extra sweetness. They are perfect for parties, holidays, or anytime you want a fun and tasty treat that’s a little bit different from traditional cookies or cake.
