Ham and cheese omelet

A ham and cheese omelet is a classic and delicious dish that is perfect for breakfast or brunch. It consists of eggs, diced ham, and shredded cheese, all cooked together to create a fluffy and flavorful omelet. Here’s a description of how it’s made:

To start, whisk together eggs in a bowl with a splash of milk or water until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil or butter. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet, swirling to evenly distribute them.

Cook the eggs, lifting the edges with a spatula and tilting the skillet to allow the uncooked eggs to flow underneath.

Using a spatula, fold the other half of the omelet over the filling. Cook for another minute or so, until the cheese is melted and the omelet is cooked through.

Slide the omelet onto a plate and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired. Serve hot, with a side of toast or fresh fruit.
