Baked crab legs are a decadent and flavorful seafood dish that is perfect for special occasions or a luxurious meal at home. The crab legs are typically cooked in a mixture of butter, garlic, and seasonings, which infuses them with rich flavor and keeps them tender and juicy.
To make baked crab legs, start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lining a baking sheet with foil. Place the crab legs on the baking sheet in a single layer.
In a small saucepan, melt butter and add minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and any other seasonings you like, such as Old Bay seasoning or paprika. Brush the butter mixture over the crab legs, making sure to coat them evenly.
Bake the crab legs in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are heated through and the meat is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Serve the baked crab legs with additional melted butter and lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the crab meat.
