Pasta in the pressure cooker with cottage cheese and pepperoni is a quick and easy dish that combines the convenience of pressure cooking with the comforting flavors of pasta, creamy cottage cheese, and savory pepperoni.
To make this dish, you would start by adding pasta (such as penne or rotini) to the pressure cooker along with water, salt, and any desired seasonings (such as garlic powder or Italian seasoning). Next, add diced pepperoni and a dollop of cottage cheese to the pot.
After closing the pressure cooker and setting it to high pressure, cook the pasta for a few minutes until it’s tender and the flavors have melded together. Once the cooking is complete, release the pressure and stir the pasta to evenly distribute the cottage cheese and pepperoni.
The result is a hearty and flavorful pasta dish that is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. The creamy cottage cheese adds a rich texture to the dish, while the pepperoni adds a bold, savory flavor. This dish can be customized with additional ingredients such as vegetables or different types of cheese to suit your taste preferences.
INGREDIENTS:
– 3 tablespoons oil
– 1 piece of pepperoni sausage in slices
– 1 chopped onion
– 2 minced garlic cloves
– 2 cubes of chicken broth
– 1 can of tomato sauce
– 2 cans of water (use the empty tomato sauce can to measure)
– Salt, black pepper, oregano and chopped parsley to taste
– 1 package of hard grain pasta (500g)
– 1 cup of cream cheese (200g)
– 50g grated parmesan cheese
METHOD OF PREPARATION:
In the pressure cooker, over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the sausage until golden. Add the onion, garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add the chicken broth, sauce, water, salt, pepper, oregano and cook until it boils. Mix the pasta and cover the pan. Lower the heat and cook for 3 minutes, after the pressure starts.
Turn off, let the pressure release naturally and open the pan. Transfer to a refractory, cover with the cottage cheese, spoonfuls, sprinkle with the parmesan, parsley and serve. enjoy
