HOMEMADE MANDEL BREAD 

Ingredients:

1 cup of white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 large eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 teaspoons of white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Combine 2 teaspoons of white sugar with cinnamon in a small bowl; set aside.
3. Combine 1 cup of sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl. Mix the flour and baking powder.
4. Roll out the dough into 3 equal size logs, about 2 inches wide. Place on one of the prepared baking sheets.
5. Take to the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Cut each log into 1/2-inch slices. Lay slices on their sides on both prepared baking sheets. Return to the oven and continue to bake until lightly golden, about 10 minutes.
