Banana Cream Cheesecake French Toast Recipe

Banana Stuffed French Toast – bananas and cream cheese sweetened and stuffed in between two pieces of bread and cooked to perfection. This breakfast is always a hit!

BANANA STUFFED FRENCH TOAST RECIPE
You’ve got to smell this one cooking. Unbelievable.
Cook the bananas with brown sugar and butter. Add some cream cheese and then nestle it in between two pieces of bread. This is gourmet and great to kick your breakfast up a notch.

✅ Ingredients:

 the French Toast:

  • 🔻 4 thick slices of brioche bread
  • 🔻 2 large eggs
  • 🔻 1/2 cup of whole milk
  • 🔻 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 🔻 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 🔻 Butter for frying

 the Banana Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 🔻 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
  • 🔻 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 🔻 1 teaspoon of banana extract
  • 🔻 2 ripe bananas, sliced

 the Whipped Cream:

  • 🔻 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 🔻 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 🔻 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
    Additional:
  • 🔻 Powdered sugar for dusting
  • 🔻 Maple syrup (optional)

👆 Instructions:

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling:

 

In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and banana extract until smooth. Fold in half of the sliced bananas.
Make the Whipped Cream:

In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Make the French Toast Batter:

Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
Cook the French Toast:

Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry each slice until golden brown on both sides, approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
Assemble the French Toast:

Spread a layer of the banana cream cheese mixture on one slice of French toast. Add a layer of sliced bananas.
Top with another slice of French toast. Press down gently.
Add a generous dollop of whipped cream on top and between the French toast layers.

Serve:

Dust with powdered sugar.
Serve immediately with additional banana slices and maple syrup if desired
