Quick Apple Cake

Apple cake is a delightful dessert that combines the sweet and tart flavors of apples with warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. It typically features a moist and tender cake base, studded with pieces of fresh apples, and sometimes includes nuts or raisins for added texture.

To make apple cake, you would start by mixing together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices in a bowl. In a separate bowl, you would combine eggs, oil, vanilla extract, and grated apples. The wet ingredients are then mixed into the dry ingredients until just combined. The batter is poured into a prepared cake pan and baked until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, the apple cake can be enjoyed on its own or with a dusting of powdered sugar. It’s perfect for a cozy fall day or as a sweet treat any time of year.
