Let’s start with the star of the show: the pasta. But not just any pasta—this salad calls for whole wheat or multigrain pasta, which is packed with fiber and complex carbohydrates to keep you feeling full and satisfied for hours. Cooked until perfectly al dente, the pasta provides a hearty base for the salad, adding substance and texture without weighing you down.

Next up, we’ve got a rainbow of fresh vegetables, because eating healthy doesn’t mean sacrificing color or flavor. Crisp cucumbers, juicy cherry tomatoes, crunchy bell peppers, and peppery arugula come together to create a vibrant canvas of flavors and textures that will delight your senses with every bite. Feel free to get creative and add your favorite veggies to the mix—think shredded carrots, thinly sliced radishes, or even some sweet corn for an extra burst of sweetness.

But what’s a salad without dressing? Fear not, because this Pasta Salad boasts a tangy vinaigrette that’s light on oil but heavy on flavor. Made with a combination of heart-healthy olive oil, zesty lemon juice, tangy balsamic vinegar, and a hint of Dijon mustard, this dressing adds a bright and refreshing note to the salad, tying all the ingredients together in a harmonious union of taste and texture.

And let’s not forget the finishing touch: a sprinkle of fresh herbs and a handful of toasted nuts or seeds for added crunch and flavor. Whether it’s fragrant basil, zesty parsley, or earthy thyme, fresh herbs elevate the salad to new heights, infusing it with an irresistible aroma and a burst of freshness that will leave you craving more.
