Ingredients:
-FOR THE RIBS:
Baby back ribs
BBQ sauce
-FOR THE RUB:
Brown sugar
Salt
Pepper
Smoked paprika
Chili powder
Granulated garlic
Onion powder
Mustard powder
Ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
In a small bowl, prepare the rub by combining 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon granulated garlic, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon mustard powder, and a pinch of ground cinnamon.
Remove the membrane from the back of the baby back ribs for tender results. Use a paper towel to grip and pull the membrane off the bone side of the ribs.
Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet, bone side down, and use your hands to rub the spice mixture generously all over both sides of the ribs.
Cover the ribs with aluminum foil, sealing it tightly to create a packet.
Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours or until they are tender and cooked through.
While the ribs are baking, prepare your favorite barbecue sauce or use store-bought barbecue sauce for convenience.
After baking, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully open the foil packet.
Preheat your grill or broiler to high heat.
Brush the ribs with a generous amount of barbecue sauce on both sides.
Grill or broil the ribs for a few minutes on each side, just until the sauce caramelizes and forms a delicious glaze.
Remove the ribs from the grill or broiler and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing between the bones.
Serve your mouthwatering Oven-Baked Ribs with extra barbecue sauce on the side. Enjoy!
