Brigadeiro pave

Brigadeiro pavê is a delicious Brazilian dessert that combines two popular treats: brigadeiro and pave. Brigadeiro is a traditional Brazilian chocolate truffle made with condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and chocolate sprinkles. Pave is a layered dessert similar to a trifle, typically made with layers of cookies or cake and a creamy filling.

To make brigadeiro pavê, you’ll start by making a brigadeiro filling. In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter, and a pinch of salt. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Next, prepare the pave layers. You can use any type of cookie or cake you like. Popular choices include ladyfingers, chocolate or vanilla wafers, or even brownies. Layer the cookies or cake in the bottom of a serving dish, then spread a layer of the brigadeiro filling on top. Repeat the layers until you’ve used all the filling and cookies or cake, ending with a layer of brigadeiro on top.

Refrigerate the brigadeiro pavê for at least a few hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together and the dessert to set. Before serving, you can garnish the top with chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or fresh berries.

The result is a rich and decadent dessert that combines the creamy sweetness of brigadeiro with the texture of cookies or cake, creating a delightful treat that is sure to impress.

Comments

Chocolate Powder: I did not use chocolate powder, as it is too sweet, so invest in either Chocolate Powder or Cocoa, if you are going to use 100% cocoa, only add 3 tablespoons.

Milk Cream: You can use the can if you want, but it comes more than the box, so your cream will be more liquid.

Storage: Consume within 5 days if stored in the fridge or freezer consume within 30 days. Always well packaged so as not to get smell and flavor or dry out.
