Dry meatballs are a thing of the past with our recipe. While most nonna’s hold a secret to get the perfect meatballs, some people just can’t seem to get it right. Cooking dry meatballs that are often times flavourless and hard to swallow, I agree with most in that meatballs can be hard to master. It’s easier to buy cooked meatballs in throw them in a sauce.:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even though it can be hard to get the texture and taste right out of a humble meatball, I’m here to tell you it’s super easy. All you need is the right meatball recipe!:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have a trick up our apron sleeves (or straps), that make these meatballs so moist and juicy and absolutely the best meatballs we’ve ever eaten. You will love our cheesy meatballs and potatos!:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:
For Meat:
•1 leek
•25 g of parsley
•500 g of minced meat
•1 egg
•100 grams of parmesan cheese
•salt
•pepper
•One slice of bread
•150 grams of shredded cheese
For Potatoes:
•1 kilo of potatoes
•salt
•slices of bacon
Also:
•flour
•eggs
Instructions:
For the Meatballs:
1. 🧅 Finely chop the leek and parsley.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, chopped leek, chopped parsley, one egg, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and a slice of bread soaked in water and squeezed.
3. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
4. Form small meatballs from the mixture.
5. Roll the meatballs in flour and then dip them in beaten eggs.
6. Fry the meatballs until they’re golden brown and set them aside.
For the Potatoes:
7. 🥔 Peel and thinly slice the potatoes.
8. Boil the potato slices in salted water until they’re just tender.
9. Drain and set aside.
Assembling:
10. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
11. 🥓 In an ovenproof dish, layer the boiled potato slices.
12. Place the cooked meatballs on top of the potatoes.
13. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the meatballs and potatoes.
14. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
15. Serve hot and enjoy your potatoes with meatballs and cheese! 🧀🥔🍖
