Puff pastry strudel with cream

Puff pastry strudel with cream is a delightful and indulgent dessert that combines the buttery, flaky goodness of puff pastry with the rich, creamy flavor of whipped cream. This dessert is perfect for special occasions or as a sweet treat to enjoy with friends and family.

To make puff pastry strudel with cream, start by thawing a sheet of puff pastry according to the package instructions. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, then spread a generous layer of whipped cream over the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.

Next, you can add your choice of fillings to the strudel. Some popular options include fresh berries, sliced fruit, chocolate chips, or nuts. Sprinkle the fillings evenly over the whipped cream.

Once you’ve added your fillings, carefully roll up the puff pastry into a log, starting from one long side. Place the pastry log seam side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top of the pastry with a beaten egg to give it a golden finish.

Bake the puff pastry strudel in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up. Remove the strudel from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Puff pastry strudel with cream is best served warm, with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. It’s a decadent and delicious dessert that is sure to impress your guests and satisfy your sweet tooth.
